I met with Jenni to discuss their engagement session prior to the shoot and she mentioned she wanted to have the session in a quaint, cute town.  She did not want to go to the usual spots…downtown Greenville, Anderson, etc.  We came up with downtown Pendleton and I think it provided a lovely location for a variety of shots.  It was an extremely hot day…one of those high 90′s and heat index well into the 100′s.  We kept to the shade as much as possible, kept a hand towel on hand and even took a break to enjoy some ice cream!!   I think Jenni and Larry did a fantastic job, considering the heat!!  I had a wonderful time with Jenni and Larry and look forward to their wedding in December!!  Hope you enjoy!  ~Amy

Yes, yes I know it is only August 1st.  But, I am here to tell you now is the time to start thinking about your Fall family session.  Last year was jam packed with clients who all utilized their beautiful pictures as Christmas gifts.  What could be a better gift than a thoughtful photo or album to give to your parents, grandparents, best friend, etc.  We typically book a month or so out this time of year, so we thought we would go ahead and share our promotion for the Fall season!!  We can not wait to work with you and hope you are having a lovely Monday!! ~Amy

So, for years now David and I have known that we need to nail down our branding across the board.. with our logo, website, facebook page, blog and marketing materials.. Let me just tell you.  This is a very difficult task and a big deal.  It really is hard to find something that you love and that you know will speak to your style and personalities.   Most people would describe us and our work as fun, outgoing, artistic, colorful, and unique.  We love that!  But how do you portray that on your web presence.  We have literally spent hours, upon hours discussing, disagreeing, designing, and disagreeing… We are both graphic design majors, so you would think we could come up with a nice, new look.  It never happened.  Trying to combine both of our tastes into one on our own just never worked.  With that being said, we agreed it was best to put it into someone elses hands and let them produce our vision for us.   We hired someone to design a brand spankin new website for us and a new logo.  We liked our logo, but we really wanted something fresh.. We are still in the process of creating the new website, but I honestly just could not stand to wait any longer to show off our new logo!!!  We have had it for over a month now and I am sooooo ready to start using it because I love it!!  And so does David!!   What an awesome feeling to know that we are both happy with the final product!!  We should hopefully have the website complete by the end of the month and can not wait to show that off too!!  Once that launches we plan on doing a lot of fun stuff!!!  Have a few giveaways, etc to celebrate our new look!!!   Woo hoo!!

Here is our awesome new logo!!!!  Let us know what you think!!
