We met Anne-Marie and Jon last year at a Wedding Festival show.. we started talking and we just knew it was a perfect fit.  They said they would be in touch and within the week we had a consultation.  I want to stress the importance of you meeting with your photographers.  It is very, very crucial that you have a good connection.  I mean think about it, typically we are spending around 7-10 hours together on the day of the wedding and you want to know that you are going to enjoy each others company.. Yes, photography is key and you want to like their pictures!!  But, we believe that when you feel comfortable with your photographers it will show in the images.  We have heard horror stories about photographers that are mean or pushy or even have zero personality and we are always amazed…but, I bet they did not have a meeting and take the opportunity to get to know each other better!  We did their engagement session and just fell in love with this couple.  They are the type of couple you just want to be around.  They are so much fun and quite honestly they kind of remind me of David and myself.. Jon is just hilarious (like David) and they are awesome together!!  The pictures from their engagement session were so great, click HERE to view them.. I feel like you can really see their fun and loving personalities!!

The day of the wedding was lovely…perfect weather and everything went smoothly!  They were married at Mary’s Cottage in downtown Greenville, SC.  Anne-Marie was one of those brides that was absolutely glowing.. I literally do not think I took a picture of her not smiling!!  I just love that… she was so happy!!  I just want to say thank you to Anne-Marie and Jon for letting us be a part of your amazing day!!  We feel so privileged to have met such an awesome couple and congratulations!!!  You guys rock!

Hope you enjoy these pictures from their wedding and have a great day!! ~Amy

I just want to start out by saying I am in love with this session..love love love it!!!   Brooks and I chatted before their session and we started brainstorming on some ideas for a vintage picnic inspired engagement session… Brooks was too cute, she said on the other line that she was taking notes :-)  Brooks and Lee spent days gathering from family and friends some of the most perfect props for their session..  they really did an amazing job!!

David and I met Lee and Brooks at her father’s home (gardening is a hobby of his and his backyard was gorgeous!!) and set up their picnic..What a perfect location for their session!  We had such a wonderful time with the two of them!!  They are truly a wonderful couple and we can not wait for their big day!!!  I hope you enjoy their session and have a Happy Monday!

PINIMAGELove all the details below.. the strawberry pie was made the night before from scratch by Brooks. Impressive!PINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEHer father just so happens to raise chickens, so we used a couple of the chicks throughout the session.PINIMAGEA little break for pie.PINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEA rockin save the date idea!!
