Hello to all… Sorry for the recent lack of postings.. we are definitely in the middle of busy season and trying to stay afloat.  I wanted to get this session posted before Sloan got any bigger… I went out to their home when Sloan was less than 2 weeks old towards the end of April.  What a cute little baby boy..He was cooperative, but refused to go to sleep… You would not believe all the attempts of Sam and I trying to get him to sleep.. Oh well!!  I think they turned out beautifully.. Sam called me when I left to let me know he fell asleep..so funny! Isn’t that how it goes sometimes.. As always, it was great to see little miss Braelyn.  She is such a doll.. Sam mentioned that she was excited to do another photo session with us.. I love to hear that!!!  We had Sam’s maternity session a couple of months ago and Braelyn was such a cutie.. Such energy.. she reminds me of my little Emma.. Anyway, here are several of my personal favorites.. I hope you enjoy… Please feel free to leave us a comment at the end of the post… Holla!!!  ~Amy

PS.. I just wanted to brag on myself for a quick second.. The blue baby blanket Sloan is wrapped in for a few of these shots was crocheted by yours truly.. I have known how to crochet since I was in the third grade and I am finally able to put that skill to use.. woo hoo!!!  Oh yeah, I crocheted that blanket the day of the photo shoot.. good stuff!

Joanna and Brian were married in April at the Country Club on Lake Keowee… It was a gorgeous day for a perfect wedding.. We really loved working with Joanna and Brian.. they are such a wonderful and fun loving couple..they both were so very nice and laid back.  I spent most of my time with Joanna, since David and I split up before the wedding to capture the “getting ready” shots.  I must say Joanna has such a great sense of humor and was so laid back on her wedding day.. It is so great when a bride is able to relax and really enjoy her special day!!  She loves to dance and I would catch her at times before the wedding just breaking it down with her bridesmaids.. it was so cute!!!  Fun to photograph… Below is a series of my favorite images from their wedding day..  Enjoy!!  ~Amy

Katie and Kyle were married at the Cliff’s Chapel in April and the reception was at the Cliff’s Lakehouse.  David and I had the privilege of photographing their wedding..Let me just say we love Katie and Kyle.. they are such an awesome couple!!  When we first met them, we knew it was going to be such a fun journey together!! After hiring us, Katie came to one of the Wedding Festival shows, stood in our booth and told brides how much she loved us and needed to hire us… Now how cool is that…she is the perfect client!!!  She is so full of life..and such a beautiful girl.   Katie you Rock!!  It is amazing to me how we always end up becoming friends with our couples.. We get to share one of the most intimate times in their life and it is so awesome to be a part of it!! Between the bridal session to engagement session and then the wedding, you really do create a special friendship.  David and I have said in the past, that it kind of makes us sad after the wedding because we really will not get to see our couples again and we always have such a great time with them.. BUT, there is always Facebook and we are able to keep in touch on there.. Gotta love Facebook!!

So, I decided I wanted to take you through the full day of their wedding.. I think that Katie will love it and for future/potential clients this will be great for you to see exactly what David and I capture throughout a wedding.. of course, there are a ton more images we will give to Katie and Kyle, but I pick out some of my personal favorites… Enjoy!!!  ~Amy
