Raycroft Art » Photography by David and Amy Raycroft

As promised, we are really going to strive to update this blog on a regular basis.  One of our 2011 brides sent an email today asking if we recommended Katie Cotton, a makeup artist in the Greenville area.  We had the opportunity to work with her last year at Ann and Daniel’s wedding.  Let me just say, Katie did a fabulous job on Ann’s make up and all of her bridesmaids.. I really was impressed and definitely would recommend Katie to any of our brides.  Below is a link to a blog post from Katie showing off some images we took from Ann and Daniel’s wedding last year (she had some really nice things to say about us, which rocked to hear!!)  She also touched on the type of makeup she used on Ann.

I thought it would be nice to end the week with a personal post.  A couple of weeks ago, we took the girls to visit an absolutely adorable puppy liter.  Julia and Emma fell in love and so did the puppies.. they follow the girls around the entire time.. I knew these pictures would be great to share because who doesn’t love to look at adorable puppies.. Anyway, hope you have a fabulous weekend and enjoy the photos!!

What faces!!!  I love the 4th one in from the right with the cocked head..

I really enjoyed this session.  I met Krista and David at Falls Park in downtown Greenville.  They had mentioned they were a little nervous (Falls park on a  Saturday=lot’s of people)… BUT, as soon as we started the session they relaxed and both were absolute naturals in front of the camera.. they are so adorable together..lot’s of laughing and lot’s of kissing… I just love them!!  Enjoy!! ~Amy

PINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGELook how high David jumped..amazing!!PINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGEThis is one of my favorites.. I told them to kiss and Krista’s response was, “Yeah!!! We get to kiss again!”  Too cute…PINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGE

Our first meeting with Molly was so cool..  she came to our studio and told us all about how Jesse proposed to her in the mountains and how romantic it was.. then she said, “I knew as soon as I got engaged I would be making 2 phone calls.. one to my family and the other to Raycroft Art”   What?!?!  How awesome.. we literally were her 2nd phone call and she booked us to photograph her wedding within a few days of being engaged.. talk about flattering.  I will never forget it!

Molly wanted to wait until the weather was a little nicer to photograph her engagement session, but she is going to be on the tv series “Say Yes to the Dress” bridesmaids edition and they needed a few photos by the beginning of March..no problem!!  We met in downtown Anderson and in my opinion, David and I got some rockin engagement pictures for the show.  Below are my personal favorites.. hope you enjoy!!

PS.. I know we have been slacking on the blog and facebook posts.. I promise there will be a lot more activity in the future.. we are in the process of creating a new website, new logo and there will be a lot of awesome things to come in the land of Raycroft Art.   ~Amy
