A few weeks ago we met with Anne-Marie and Jon and went on a fun adventure with the 2 of them.  We started off with a swing in Anderson and then drove to the downtown area.  I absolutely love this session.  Jon and Anne-Marie are the couple that are constantly laughing and cutting up… Between the four of us, we pretty much laughed for 2 hours… Good times!!  They really are so much fun and I think it is very apparent in their pictures.. They are a rockin couple!  We are looking forward to their wedding next May…

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!  We have two weddings to photograph, so I am forcing myself out of the studio to relax before our long weekend… Can’t wait! ~Amy

Our Green chair… It has become seemingly iconic for a lot of our Engagement/Bridal/and Family portrait sessions… It has sat atop mountains overlooking the blue ridge parkway, next to cold, crystal lakes, under windswept autumn leaves, on groomed grounds of beautiful golf courses… just to name a few. Not to mention, the countless beautiful brides, couples, and children who have parked their bottoms on it…  The chair resides in our living room until it is called to duty for any given session.  It is actually a faded green… an image of it’s formal vibrant green at one point in time… we bring this back with a little bump in saturation most of the time. Where will it go next? Who will sit in it next? Until then… I’ll enjoy sipping  my coffee on it in our living room… -dPINIMAGEPINIMAGE

Posted below is a recent session with the adorable miss Delilah.  Is she not the cutest and her little outfit was so perfect with all the colors of the season (awesome job Sydel)  It took a little warming up to the camera this time, but we succeeded.. many thanks to her father for working hard to get that smile.. I would say it was well worth it because we were able to capture many expressions from this beautiful child..  Here are a few of our favorites from this session.. Enjoy!  ~Amy

A couple of weeks ago we photographed Kathy and Tom’s wedding.. They were married at Symme’s Chapel and their reception was at the Hugenot Loft.  We love weddings at the Symme’s Chapel because you literally drive up a mountain and the Chapel is overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains.. plus the leaves were starting to change colors and made for a wonderful drive.

As far as Kathy and Tom goes they are just plain out awesome.. They are the type of couple who love life and each other thoroughly and it shows in their pictures.. I really do not recall a single moment where Kathy was not smiling.. she was the epitome of “glowing bride”  She was gorgeous!!  Kathy and Tom wanted to make sure their guests had a wonderful time!!  We offer a Photo Booth to our clients and Kathy and Tom decided they wanted it at their reception.. It was perfect.. their guests took full advantage of it and we made sure to share a few pictures from the booth.. They are always fun to see :-)  It was a rockin reception!!

Here are a few of our favorites from the day!!  Enjoy ~ Amy
