As most of you know, we LOVE to scout for new locations… sometimes we set out to do it and sometimes the locations just scream to us from the side of the road… In this case it was the latter. We drive by an awesome farm frequently doing photo sessions in and around the Clemson, Sc area… Recently while driving by, we saw this small patch of tall green plants with beautiful yellow flowers on them. We asked the property owner if we could photograph there and he was sooooo nice and welcoming to us. He informed us that they were mustard greens and he was a day or two away from plowing them… good timing! The name of the farm is Denver Downs. Every fall they have hayrides, pumpkin picking, a HUGE corn maze and other festivities.. We have been several times with the girls and have a blast. We definitely recommend checking them out.

Now let’s talk about our subject… Eden. Eden is an adorable, well mannered child. I photographed her sister last fall and enjoyed how she listened so well, would come give me hugs and call me “Mr David”… This time wasn’t any different. Eden listened so well and was an absolute joy to photograph… She picked out a very beautiful pink dress and looked like a princess… check out the pictures…PINIMAGEPINIMAGE

Eden giving me her big cheese face…. hilarious!PINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGE

I asked her to push her hair out of her face and…. what a shot!!!PINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGE

Hope you all enjoyed! Thank you Kristen and Josh for your continued business… We love your family!!!!

So, now that we have our new blog we wanted to start sharing a “Photo of the Week”.  As photographers, we have so many images and so many that are meaningful to us and thought we would should start sharing them with you.. They will most likely be images on a more personal side, but that is ok… it will help you get to know us better..

This image is of our nephew, Miller.. I LOVE this photograph!! For those of you who do not know, Miller has been fighting stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma since July…The pain and suffering this poor child has gone through is unreal…My sister, Jen, has done a great job explaining their experience, but it is heart wrenching to read and hear the stories.. Miller, is a fighter..and most importantly we have God on our side.. We received the BEST news anyone could ever get a couple of weeks ago.. His cancer is now in remission (after 6 rounds of chemo, 2 surgeries, bone marrow transplant and radiation).. WOO HOO!!!!

This image was taken on Easter Sunday.. our family was together and it was amazing.. the weather was beautiful and it really was an awesome day for us..the kids got to play outside, run around, have easter egg hunts, etc.. As you can see in this picture, Miller is finally getting his hair back and he has eyebrows :-)  Too cute!

It really makes me happy to see this photograph because Miller is getting to do what any 4 year should be doing and that is exploring the world… he is getting to experience new things again!!  I thank God for this beautiful child.. Please enjoy every day to your fullest and I hope you all have a wonderful week!! ~Amy

  • Leslie Morgan - This should be photo of the decade!

David and I had the pleasure of photographing Lee and Jennifer’s engagement session a few weeks ago.. They both work at Clemson, so what a better place to do their session than on Clemson’s campus… They are a wonderful couple and we can’t wait for their wedding in July.

Enjoy!!!
